This 12 x 12 inch canvas comes from inspiration of my own pregnancy loss. We sweet Olivia was born still on July 1, 2018. I knew I wanted to make her something special for her memorial and this was what was produced from my grief. The quote “I will hold you in my heart until I can hold you in heaven” is what I will cling to.
This painting features a handpainted 12 x 12 inch watercolor background in coral, with metallic gold “galaxy” splatters to symbolize the heavens. The metallic gold is then emphasized with a free-form swipe of paint across the bottom. The text is handpainted on in my own handwriting, to create a beautiful memory for any baby gone too soon. I can customize the color of the watercolor and do another metallic galaxy/swipe color (silver, rose gold) at no extra charge, to match any keepsakes you already have.
